After interacting with the Lonely Offering note in the Dry Steppes’ Valley of the Strayed, you’ll find the following riddle written in the book:

Tough timeworn, you endure. Before your colorful kin, I say: Yes, I keep our traditions!

Once you read the note, head to the nearby quest circle until you see a statue. Equip the “Yes” emote and use it while standing in this circle to solve the riddle.

How to Assign the Yes Emote in Diablo 4

To use emotes in Diablo 4, bring up your emote wheel by pressing E on your keyboard or up on your controller’s D-pad. From here, you’ll see all kinds of options, including leaving a dungeon, zooming in and out, and inviting to trade.

If you don’t see the “Yes” emote right away, you can take the following steps to assign it to your emote wheel:

  • Open your emote menu and select Customize
  • Go into the emotes tab and scroll through until you see “Yes”
  • Drag it into your emote wheel and save your changes!
