How to Complete The Swamp’s Protection Side Quest in Diablo 4

The Swamp holds many secrets and many ways to die. But with the Swamp’s Protection, you might ease the suffering of a few lives. Here’s how to complete The Swamp’s Protection Side Quest in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4: The Swamp’s Protection Side Quest – Location and Walkthrough

Deep in the swamps of Hawezar lives Timue. To find her and start her quest, The Swamp’s Protection, head to the coastal town of Backwater. From there, go directly left and you’ll find Timue’s hovel tucked away against the mountain wall.

Speak to her and she’ll request that you give her gifts to the infected.    

Get Timue’s gifts for the infected

After speaking to Timue, look behind her and you’ll find Timue’s Chest. Interact with it at Timue’s Supplies will pop out. Grab this quest item.

Find the Infected People

There are three people to find: Baridan, Duraya, and Raldin.

How to Find Bardian.

To find Bardian, walk out of Timue’s house and keep going straight. He’s very close by, near a grove of trees.

How to Find Duraya

After speaking to Bardian, he’ll give you your next quest marker: Duraya. Duraya is located West of Bardian’s location.

Duraya will then direct you to Raldin.

How to Find Raldin

Raldin is located a little north of Timue’s hovel, immediately next to the Cellar Bleak Basement and an Altar of Lilith. He’ll be surrounded by snakes and bandits.

Find the Bandit Camp

Raldin’s brother has been kidnapped by bandits. The bandit camp is located to the northeast, at the very top of the Forsaken Coast.

Within the camp, you’ll encounter bandits, one Elite, and a pile of bodies. Inspect them and the note and you’ll learn that the infected were being killed so that their growths could be harvested and sold.

Return to Timue

Once you’ve cleared the bandit camp, return to Timue. She’ll give you a cache of herbs, money, and experience for your trouble.
