How to Farm For the Legendary Aspects You Want in Diablo 4

Curious about curios.

Do you have a sweet new weapon or amulet gathering dust in your stash, all because you can’t seem to find that “build defining” Legendary Aspect you need to Imprint onto it? Or maybe you want to gather a few of the same Aspect to avoid this situation entirely. Two is good, but triples make it safe. Triples is best. Here’s how to farm for specific Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4.

How to Farm Legendary Aspects in Diablo 4

There are two (count ’em: two) reliable ways to get guaranteed* Legendary Aspects. First is Mystery Helltide Chests, but second, and more importantly to the focus of this article, is the Curiosity Vendor. Basically, if you just want a lot of non-specific Aspects to hoard, go for the Mystery Chests. But, if you want Aspects of a certain kind, let me explain how the Curiosity Vendor can help.

How to Farm Specific Aspects in Diablo 4

Legendary Aspects come in five types: Offense, Defense, Mobility, Resource and Utility. You can tell which one is which by what slot they can be imprinted (or found) on. Let’s break down where each one is found. This means you’ll need to identify which type of Aspect you want and then purchase that type of item from the Curiosity Vendor en masse. You should get three or four Legendaries if you cap out your Obols and spend them all at once.

Let’s look at where which Aspects can be found, and which ones to roll on (in bold) if you’re targeting them at the vendor:

Offensive Aspects are found on Gloves, Weapons, Rings, and Amulets

Defensive Aspects are found on Helmets, Chest Armor, Pants, Shields, and Amulets

Utility Aspects are found on Helmets, Chest Armor, Boots, Gloves, and Amulets

Resource Aspects are found only on Rings

Mobility Aspects are found on Boots and Amulets

By limiting the overlap each of these types shares, we can target certain kinds of Aspects by “guaranteeing” other types won’t drop. This is as close as you get to target-farming, so be sure to do those Public Events!
