Diablo 4: Sirocco Caverns Locations and Aspect Guide

Straight into the spider's web

Diablo 4 can sometimes feel like an endless race to find the best exp dungeon before it gains popularity and is quickly hotfixed into oblivion. Sirocco Caverns, however, might stand the test of time. Here’s how to find the Sirocco Caverns dungeon in Diablo 4.

Some dungeons are easier to find than others. Sirocco Caverns, however, can prove to be a little elusive. It’s in Scouring Sands, Kehjistan, right on the border of the Dry Steppes. Its closest waypoint is the small town Jirandai, which lies just southeast of the Dry Steppes Fields of Hatred.

Sirocco Caverns offers two things: plenty of enemies to kill and the Aspect of Echoing Fury. This Aspect is particularly useful for Whirlwind Barbarians.

The Aspect of Echoing Fury:

  • Your Shout skills generate [2.0-4.0] Fury per second while active.

The Aspect of Echoing Fury is part of the Whirlwind build, which is all about generating enough Fury to sustain the Whirlwind as long as possible. Use it with the Defensive skills Rallying Cry and Challenging Shout.

It can only be imprinted on rings.

How to Complete Sirocco Caverns

Before engaging with this dungeon, sip a Poison Resistance elixir, as you’ll be encountering a lot of poison damage, or Elixir of Beast-Slaying. The 5% exp boost is just icing on the cake. You’ll be encountering Toxic Lurkers (spiders), Plague Maggots, and Arachnid Horrors, and these Elixirs will help you counter them.

Stage 1: Destroy the Silken Spires

Upon entering Sirocco Caverns, you’ll be tasked with destroying three Silken Spires, which are scattered around the floor. These spires are guarded by Plague Maggots and Toxic Lurkers. As you search for them, you’ll encounter three Elites in a group. This is the only group of “wild” elites on the level.

Once you find a Silken Spire, which is just a massive stack of spider eggs, start doing damage to it. It will periodically shoot poison at you, and mobs will spawn once it loses one-third of its health. Once it reaches its last third of health, a Matriarch Elite Toxic Lurker will spawn.

When all three Silken Spires are destroyed, a barrier will fall.

Stage 2: Travel to the Corrupted Sands

A scarlet barrier on the map that was blocking your way will fall. If you haven’t found it yet, check your map and you should see a pulsating circle. That’s where the now-opened door is. There will be two paths, but it doesn’t matter which you take, as they’ll all lead to the same place.

Stage 3: Slay the Spider Callers

Hunt through the next floor until you find the Spider Caller Mini-Boss, marked on your mini map with a giant skull.

It’s on this level that you’ll find the highest concentration of elites around the Spider Caller. I found eight in total in the first section, followed by another mini boss called Rakoshan Peacestopper, a Fallen Overseer with Suppressor, Plaguebearer, and Terrifying.

Elites in Sirocco Caverns

Past this mini boss, you’ll enter the second section, which will have another eight Elite enemies. Once they’re all defeated (Spider Caller included), the dungeon will be marked as complete, and you’ll get your Aspect of Echoing Fury.

In grand total, there are at least 24 Elite enemies in this dungeon, making it a decent place to farm exp. And if it’s a good place to farm exp, that means it’s a good place to get unique weapons.
