With every major golf tournament comes a primary update from EA Sports for PGA Tour Road to the Masters, and that’s what’s happened over recent days with US Open and the Season 3 update. This weekend, all eyes and attention will turn to the US Open and while we watch the epic battle between the pros live in action at the Los Angeles Country Club, we virtual players get to enjoy a major update that includes the newly added Los Angeles Country Club.

Is EA Sports PGA Tour Free to Play?

Yes, EA Sports PGA Tour is free to play this weekend between June 15 through June 18, Thursday to Sunday. The free-to-play update will be for all platforms, the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You’ll get to experience the game in all of its greatness for the entire weekend. This is great news for those who are still interested but want a test drive before they give their money away. 

The latest update, titled Season 3 Patch Note 4.0, saw several issues rectified, big improvements made to the gameplay, and plenty of new gear and items added to the store and game. Included with this update is a very special treat for those still considering spending their money on the game.

EA Sports PGA Tour has been labeled the “most comprehensive video game in golf” by PGA America. So with the experts calling it the songbird of its generation, what else do you still need to convince you that this is the golf video game to invest your money in? How about playing it without paying a cent and making your decision from there?
