Valve is making a documentary based on notable eSports players of the company’s title Dota 2 (the game with the beta that just keeps on truckin’).

The documentary will feature players who had entered last year’s massive Dota 2 tournament, The International 2011. The competition boasted an eSports record-breaking prize of $1 million for the winning team.

In the film you can expect to gain an insight into the families of the players and find out what they make of the obscure career paths of their relatives.

We don’t yet have a release date for the documentary but it’s listed as “coming soon” by Valve, which we suspect means before The International 2012, which is set to happen in Seattle between August 31st and September 2nd.
