Plants vs Zombies 2, as it might not be called, doesn’t have an official name, release date or set of launch platforms, though we expect it’ll be playable on everything from a calculator to a toothbrush.

We might not have been given a date but we have a release window; it’s supposedly coming sometime in the first half of 2013. PopCap has promised more plants and zombie types than previously seen and new “settings and situations”, not exactly the most revealing press release information we’ve ever heard.

“Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots,” came some kind of spokeszombie. “So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.”
