PopCap Games apparently wants to get you in the holiday spirit a little earlier this year, as the company has finally pegged a release date for its long-awaited sequel, Peggle 2.

The game will arrive exclusively on Xbox One – for the moment, anyway – on December 9th, for the very reasonable price of $11.99. If that news doesn’t make fans of the game happy, we’re not sure what does.
The game will feature a number of classic characters making their return, as well as new ones that are added to the fold, each of which provide abilities that will help you clear the board with ease – that is, if you know just where to drop your marbles.
