How to Farm Angelbreath in Diablo 4

Lily of the demonic valley.

Angelbreath is one of the many plant-based crafting materials scattered around Diablo 4, and you need them if you want better Health Potions or powerful elixirs. Unlike some of the standard regional plants though, Angelbreath is considered a rare crafting material, and it can be tough to find. Here’s where to farm Angelbreath in Diablo 4.

Where to Find Angelbreath in Diablo 4

Angelbreath can be found as a rare spawn when you farm for any plants around the Sanctuary map or from Cache rewards. I have been able to find and farm some Angelbreath in the Deep Forest region of Scosglen, all the way on the southern tip of the border. This area has the potential to spawn a World Event, but on the cramped path leading there, I found some Angelbreath to farm. You can see on the map below where the spawn is located around the white square. The World Event that I ran into is just south of the spawn.

Because Angelbreath isn’t tied to a single region, you can find spawns for it all over Sanctuary. I have managed to find additional farming spots in Hawezar and in Kehjistan. As a rare crafting material though, the spawns are far less frequent and it’s important to keep an eye out for the bright-colored flower.

Farming Angelbreath in Diablo 4:

  • Collect plants from any region in Sanctuary for a rare drop.
  • Complete side quests for Herb Cache rewards that contain Angelbreath.
  • Open Caches from the Tree of Whispers for rare materials.

When you take on World Events, or you reach higher World Tiers, you can earn Angelbreath as a reward from chests. I have earned the plant by completing events like the Gathering Legions and from reward containers tied to the Tree of Whispers at the end of the campaign. These are fantastic ways to bolster your plant total in Diablo 4.

Other plant materials in the game can be refined or reduced at any Alchemist in a major town. However, rare plants like Fiend Rose and Angelbreath can only be found, not created. If you are looking for roses as well, make sure to check out our guide on how to get Fiend Roses in Diablo 4.
