Druid Snake Spirit Boons in Diablo 4 Revealed

Passssive skills

If you’re playing Druid in Diablo 4, you’ve by now likely encountered the class’ unique mechanic: Spirit Boons. These are found in Tur Dulra (see the map below) after completing the level 15 Druid questline. There are four Spirit Animals to choose from, and each grants unique passive bonuses. These are unlocked by spending randomly dropped currency – but one animal is unique. The Snake doesn’t reveal or allow the use of any of its passives until you spend 100 Druidic Spirit Offerings. If you’re wondering what these passives are, and if they’re worth spending on right away, wonder no more. Here are the Druid Snake Spirit Boons in Diablo 4.

Snake Spirit Animal Passives in Diablo 4

Obsidian Slam: Every 20th kill will cause your next Earth Skill to Overpower

Overload: Dealing Lightning damage has up to a 20% chance to cause the target to emit a static discharge, dealing X Lightning damage to surrounding enemies

Masochistic: Shapeshifting Skills heal you for 3% of your maximum life

Calm Before the Storm: Nature Magic Skills have up to a 10% chance to reduce the Cooldown of your Ultimate Skill by 2 seconds

These passives are essential for anyone playing a Storm Druid build or Pulverize Werebear build. They’re pretty good all around, and my favorites among those on offer. And remember, once you unlock all Spirit Boons you can choose two from a single Animal. This means even more bonuses for unlocking them all.

The Druid questline is pretty long, so I’d recommend starting it as soon as you hit Level 15. It involves clearing a Stronghold, exploring an adjacent marsh, and general fetch-questing. The rewards may not seem very powerful to start, but I found the Snake Boons to be build-defining when using Lightning Storm and Cataclysm.
