A little tricky ain't it?

Diablo 4 is filled with tiny ways to make your character better, stronger, faster… well, you get the idea. Aspects are a huge part of endgame builds and crafting the most efficient way to manage your resources. Here’s how to get the aspect of Hardened Bones for Necromancer in Diablo 4.

Unlike other Aspects in the game, which are found by completing Dungeons, the Aspect of Hardened Bones is obtained by extracting it from a piece of Legendary Gear.

The Aspect of Hardened Bones can be extracted from the Occultist in any major town. Their symbol on the map is a triangle with circles around it. The earliest Occulist you will meet is at the first major town Kyvoshad.

There is no way to guarantee that you obtain the Aspect of Hardened Bones from a Legendary drop. You just need to get lucky by finding Legendary Gear and then that piece having the Aspect you’re looking for. You can always preview what Aspect you will get before dismantling it, which is nice.

To increase your Legendary Drop rate, playing on World Tier 3 and higher will be your best bet. You’ll need to finish the main campaign before accessing this, so be sure to mainline that if you’re trying to complete your build.

The Aspect of Hardened Bones is a Defensive Aspect and grants the following benefit.

“While you have 7 or more Minions, your Minions gain 15-20% increased Damage Reduction.”

It can be imprinted at the Occultist onto the following pieces of gear

  • Helm
  • Chest Armor
  • Pants
  • Amulet
  • Shield
