Double Dragon Neon Beating Up Xbox Live and PlayStation Network This September

Grab your VHS copy of Tango and Cash and put on your Pac-Man Fever CD. The 80’s are back, man!

Majesco Games has announced that its reboot of the classic favorite Double Dragon Neon, featuring an 80’s motif, rock soundtrack and characters that truly define the era (MULLETS!), has finally gotten a release date. The game will be available for release on September 11 for PlayStation Network, and September 12 for Xbox Live Arcade. It’ll sell for $9.99, a reasonable price when it comes to fun beat-em-up action.

The game once again returns brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee back to the forefront as they take on a dangerous new enemy and his colorfully-dressed thugs, as they threaten to take over the city. Using punches, kicks and other awesome moves, you vow to make things right. The game will feature online play, so a friend can join in on the fun at any time.

Dude! Did we mention we have Real Genius shirts?! Because they’re rad! (No, seriously. We do.)
