Throughout the past few years, the latest installment to the Diablo franchise, Diablo 4, has developed hype for its June 2023 release through its promotional videos and art, alongside its March 2023 open beta sessions. During these betas, everyone had the opportunity to play through the game’s first act, with a level and quest cap to prevent people from progressing too far.
With a second beta period coming up in May, many of us are eager to hop back into action and play again. Fortunately, if you’re one of these people, you can download the game early and play on day one without any delays! If you want to learn more, continue reading to find out how to predownload Diablo 4 on all platforms.
How to Preload Diablo 4 on All Platforms
In anticipation of the Server Slam event on May 12, you can preload Diablo 4 two days early, allowing you plenty of time to download the necessary files and play the game on day one rather than sitting down for hours and waiting for everything to process. You may even get ahead of the launch queues if you’re lucky!
Starting May 10 at 12 PM PDT, you can download the game early on PC, Xbox and PlayStation using the steps described below!

In most regions, aside from Germany for its rating requirements, you will not need Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus to participate in Diablo 4’s Server Slam event. However, some multiplayer features in the game require these subscriptions, so be prepared to look into these if you want to experience all of Diablo 4.
The Diablo 4 Server Slam event takes place from May 12, 12 PM PDT, to May 14, 12 PM PDT, so mark your calendars and get ready for another weekend in Sanctuary! With enough luck, time and dedication, you may even get the fourth Diablo 4 beta reward released exclusively for this event.
Diablo 4 will be available on June 6, 2023, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
