Is Minecraft Legends Cross-Platform?
Fortunately, there’s some good news for anyone wanting to play with people on different platforms. The game features online PvP and Co-op and has cross-platform multiplayer, allowing you to fight alongside (or against) others, even if they’re on different devices. You’re not forced to get another version of the game to play on consoles or PC. Instead, you just need a Microsoft account to connect to your game to activate cross-play.

But what if you want to play on another device? If you bought Minecraft Legends on one platform, can you carry it over to another?
The short and simple answer is no, you can’t. Once you buy Minecraft Legends on your chosen platform, you can only access it there. If you want to play on a different device, you’ll have to purchase another copy of the game. However, you won’t have to worry about losing your progress.
That’s right; the game features cross-platform progression. In short, if you buy a second copy of Minecraft Legends for a different platform, your progress will carry over, allowing you to keep your characters and resources.
Minecraft Legends will be available on April 18, 2023, on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation platforms. To learn more about the game, check out our entire list of Minecraft Legends guides by clicking the tag below!
