Who is the Composer for the FFXVI OST? – Answered
The composer of the FFXVI soundtrack is none other than Masayoshi Soken. Soken’s work includes FFXIV, multiple installments of the Drakengard series, and of course, Mario Hoops 3 on 3.
Soken has produced all of the music found in FFXIV’s expansions as well, with the most recent entry being the Endwalker expansion.
He has also worked on series such as Front Mission and Lord of Vermillion. He also formed the rock band known as The Primals, who perform at FFXIV Fan Fests and have released multiple albums.

One other musician involved with FFXVI’s OST is Kenshi Yonezu. Yonezu writes the main theme song for FFXVI. You can listen to a small snippet of the track below.
