UK publisher Reef Entertainment’s upcoming Rambo: The Video Game will be playable at Gamescom next month.
Rambo: The Video Game, the game about Rambo, is coming to gamers via video game consoles and personal computers later this year. To be precise, that’s PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows.
Reef Entertainment originally announced the project back in August last year but hasn’t really spoken much to anyone about it since.
“We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August,” came Reef Entertainment commercial director Craig Lewis.
“During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.”
It’s not the first time there’s been a Rambo video game; older readers might remember Ocean Software’s Rambo efforts on the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and Commodore 64 (and more with Rambo 3). Excellent music, I hope they match it.
Rambo: The Video Game will be playable at Cologne’s Gamescom next month.
