The game, originally released on PC back in 2008 as Derek Yu’s Spelunky was met with critical praise all over the shop for its interesting mix of 2D platforming shoved into a massive roguelike single-player series of levels. Spelunky is a frantic platformer based on cave exploration, treasure-hunting and rescuing damsels in distress, who, obviously, can be swapped for dogs in distress in this updated edition. There’s a better explanation over on the game’s site here.
