Bruce Campbell Returns To Spider-Man Video Game Territory – In Amazing Style

Oh, Bruce Campbell. You could star in the weakest Evil Dead game in the world and we’d still listen in just to see what you provide for it.

Bruce Campbell, who currently stars in the Burn Notice series on USA, has been dabbling in video game voiceovers for years, starting with Broken Helix and moving through various titles.  But it’s with the Spider-Man series he made his mark, playing a smarmy announcer guiding the S-Man through his paces.

Campbell is returning to the series in next week’s upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, based on the movie of the same name.  He’ll be playing an Xtreme Reporter who flies across the city in a zeppelin, ready to issue “Xtreme” challenges to Peter Parker – you know, when he isn’t saving the city.

You can check out video with Campbell talking about his role in the game, as well as the nature of the Xtreme reporter.  How does someone like that afford a zeppelin, anyway?

Look for the game next week!
