The device features an ultra thin keyboard built right into its cover, a kickstand in the body and both front and rear-facing HD video cameras.

“Conceived, designed and engineered entirely by Microsoft employees,” comes the official blurb. The Surface also packs a full USB port along with a 10.6 inch screen.

It’ll be possible to buy Windows RT or Windows 8 Pro models, the former being available on the day of the Windows 8 release and the latter following around 90 days later.

As far as the price goes, Microsoft has simply said that it’ll be “competitive with a comparable ARM tablet or Intel Ultrabook-class PC”.
