When it comes to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you’re rarely going to find a puzzle that’s straightforward from the minute you find it. You’re likely either going to have to do some digging or take the time to think it out before finally being met with that “Aha!” moment as you figure out the solution. One such puzzle comes early on but can be hard to understand at first. Here’s how to solve the Marble/Crystal Ball puzzle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
How to Complete the Crystal Ball Puzzle in the Resident Evil 4 Remake
You’ll first find this object when opening the Wardrobe in the Village Chief’s Manor (come to think of it, it’s a nasty surprise after that slightly obscure puzzle). When used in another room upstairs, you’ll be met with a puzzle including a ton of small white balls combined with a strange bug shape behind it.
You might be immediately led to believe that you need to create an outline of the bug, but that’s slightly wrong. What you want to do is make the small balls create the bug’s picture in the back. This is going to take a lot of tilting the ball, something that will likely make you quite frustrated. Keep at it though, and eventually, things will start to click. It also may take some extra finesse even once you have it down. It can be very finicky for how close the balls need to be.
