Jimmy Fallon, the host of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, continued his week long dedication to upcoming games, this time with The Last of Us, Naughty Dog’s shockingly good PS3 adventure.  Two of the developer’s team members, Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, appeared on the show to walk Fallon through the demo.

Though no trailblazing new footage was shown from the game, we did once again glimpse upon some great stuff that was shown during the Sony press conference, including the survival tactics that the main characters have to go through when they walk into an ambush situation.  While this doesn’t include the “shotgun to the face” footage, it does feature some creative use of a Molotov cocktail, complete with a “Merry Christmas!” from Jimmy Fallon.  Yep, he actually said, “Merry Christmas!”

The Last of Us doesn’t have a release date at this time, but you can save your sanity by watching the footage below.
