THQ: WWE ’13 Focuses on Attitude Era

WWE ’13 will be focused around the time that featured a heavy amount of Stone Cold Steve Austin: the Attitude Era, THQ has revealed, announcing the game will be coming this fall to Xbox 360, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The trailer for the title shows an October 30^th release date for the title, while showing off CM Punk as the game’s cover star.

The game, of course, brings with it a new campaign, named WWE Universe 3.0, set to add new features such as dynamically changing allies, rivals and “unpredictable moments”.

THQ has also revamped the presentation and audio with a system they call WWE Live, improving commentary, sound effects and crowd participation. WWE ’13 boasts the biggest selection of fighters ever available in the series. On the list are people such as Steve Austin, Seamus, Undertaker, Mankind, Chris Jericho, Big Show and Mark Henry.

“WWE ’13 is certain to ignite our enthusiastic, worldwide fan base and encourage them to live a revolution that simply cannot be ignored,” said THQ’s brand exec Sean Ratcliffe.

“WWE Live will bring the impassioned WWE live event experience into the living rooms of consumers, while critical core gameplay improvements and a serious dose of attitude will enable them to experience WWE action like never before.”
