Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning managed to sell 410,000 copies in the U.S. since it’s debut, but that might not be enough to keep parent company 38 Studios solvent. According to a report by NBC 10, 38 Studios owner Curt Schilling and Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee were meeting under less than auspicious circumstances.

“We’re always working to keep Rhode Island companies solvent, and that’s what we’re doing with 38 Studios,” Chafee said.

38 Studios moved from Massachusetts to Rhode Island when state officials offered the company a $75-million loan guarantee. Government officials in Providence said that this move would bring hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars of tax revenue to the state.

“We’re working with 38 Studios on different issues. That’s all I can report right now,” added Chafee.
