Where to Find Igon
You will find Igon for the first time next to the Pillar Path Waypoint Site of Grace, where he will be sitting on the floor crying in pain. It will look like Igon is scared of something. Talking to him won’t give you anything useful unless you return after some time. He will talk about finding Bayle when you talk to him again.
Go straight down the road and enter the Dragon’s Pit on your left. After you clear the Dragon’s Pit dungeon and come back to find Igon, he will not be there.
Second Encounter With Igon
To find Igon again, get out of Dragon’s Pit and take the path northwest of the Jagged Peak Drake in the lake. Keep following the path till you come across a Spritispring. Jump up from the Spiritsping and cross the bridge to reach the Foot of the Jagged Peak Site of Grace.
Straight ahead will be two Jagged Peak Drake going at each other. You will have to defeat both of them to be able to talk to Igon again. Wait for one of the two dragons to defeat another and then go in to fight it.
After the fight, Igon will spawn next to the arena. Talk to him and he will ask you to defeat Bayle the Dread. He will also give you Igon’s Furled Finger to summon him during the fight.
Where to Find Bayle the Dread
Go straight past Igon and jump up from the two Spiritsprings. Enter the cave and go straight while dodging the boulders. Turn left and you will enter an arena where you will fight Ancient Dragon Senessax.
After the fight, go straight ahead and rest at the Jagged Peak Mountainside Site of Grace. Take the path on your left and keep following the path till you reach the third Spiritspring that will take you to the Jagged Peak Summit Site of Grace.
You will now face Bayle the Dread in the boss arena. Get ready to die multiple times when facing Bayle, as the dragon is very tanky and deals a lot of damage. You will need to have your Scadutree Blessings above 10. Also, the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana is the best weapon you can use against Bayle if you’re running a Str-Dex build.
Get Your Reward
After you have defeated Bayle, go back to Igon in the arena where you faced the two dragons. You will see his body on the floor, with Igon’s Armor Set, Igon’s Greatbow, and Igon’s Bell Bearing.
And that is the complete Igon’s Questline. Defeating Bayle is also part of the Dragon Communion Priestess’ quest, which gives you one of the two Dragon Forms in Elden Ring.
