The process of changing factions is a challenging one, as you’ll lose all progress. To change your faction, you’ll have to undergo a complete account wipe. Once you have done so, you’ll have to create a new character. Once you create the new character, you have to pick one of the three available factions.

- Crimson Shield International
You can select any from the three available factions, but there will be differences. While the format of every quest remains the same for all factions, the map squares will differ. This is why you can only form parties with other players in the same faction.Â
There are certain fundamental shortcomings in Gray Zone Warfare, which is natural given its early access status. While it wasn’t possible to change your faction at first, that’s no longer the case. A previous patch added this option after many players complained about the lack of the important feature.Â
