Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes will feature a variety of characters from the universe, mainly centering around the Avengers, including Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Thor. During the reveal of the teaser trailer, other characters were hinted at, including MODOK, Loki, and Groot and Rocket Raccoon, indicating that we could see a Guardians of the Galaxy pack to tie in with the forthcoming film later this summer.

The 2.0 version of the game will be fully compatible with previously released equipment and figures, and all Toy Box progress made by players will be transferrable to the new version of the game.

New characters in Marvel Super Heroes will be able to level up and unlock new abilities within the game. Iron Man can unlock new blasting capabilities, while Hulk and Thor will be able to boost up in strength. This will be done through new Special Skills and Combat systems, as well as Attributions and a Skill Tree.

Best of all, players across the board will be able to enjoy Marvel Super Heroes. Not only will this Disney Infinity experience come to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, but, for the first time, also to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

We’ll have full coverage on this new chapter of Disney Infinity in the months ahead. Excelsior!
