Animal Crossing: New Leaf- January Events

Happy New Year! 2014 is finally upon us, and for some people, January 1st marks a fresh start in their lives. Gamers, meanwhile, have new events and birthdays to celebrate in Nintendo’s 3DS title, Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Granted, New Year’s Day already passed, but you still have plenty of fish to catch.

January Events

New Year’s Day (1/1): Visit the plaza and celebrate with Isabelle. It’s also Lunar New Year’s Day in Korea.

Fishing Tourney (3rd Saturday, 1/18): Catch a ton of fish for Chip.

Daeboreum (1/15): This is a Korean holiday that celebrates the first full moon of 2014.
