How to Unlock the Master Cycle Zero

The first real step in unlocking this new mount is to complete the trials that are unlocked with the Champions’ Ballad DLC. If you aren’t sure how to get started, make sure you check out our guide on how to start the Champions’ Ballad DLC for all the details. You’ll also want to make sure you check out our Breath of the Wild guide where we offer in-depth information on how to beat all four of the Divine Beasts, a feat that you’ll have to pull off to get the Master Cycle Zero.

Of course, these shrines included in the Champions’ Ballad will offer some of the greatest challenges that players have come across in the Zelda universe, most notably in Breath of the Wild itself, so make sure you bring your wits and strategize to figure out every solution.

When the shrines are completed you’ll be pointed in the direction of four new altars, where you’ll need to figure out pictorial references that will lead you to new shrines and even more challenges, including some new boss fights like extremely dangerous creatures like the Molduga. Once these challenges are complete, and only when they have been completed, you’ll receive the Master Cycle Zero.

You’ll want to complete these challenges despite the reward, though, especially if you love the story that is told throughout the Legend of Zelda games, as completing the challenges in the Champions’ Ballad will reveal new lore and story for Breath of the Wild, giving you an even more vivid look into the history of Hyrule and the Divine Beasts that you had to conquer as part of the main story.

After you’ve managed to complete the Champions’ Ballad DLC, and acquired the Master Cycle Zero, it’s time to continue exploring the world. Make sure you haven’t missed anything important by heading over to our Zelda: Breath of the Wild guide, where we have plenty of in-depth articles just waiting to assist you in your journey.
