The Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn has launched and with it has come many highs and many lows. But attendees (both physical and virtual) have the opportunity to complete an event-locked Master Work Research with the ultimate prize being a Shiny Jirachi. Wish Granted Masterwork Research: All Research Tasks and Rewards in Pokemon GO
Trainers who are hoping to get Shiny Jirachi need only run to the in-game shop. There, for $4.99, trainers can purchase a ticket for a Masterwork Research encounter, which will be available from February 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM PST until Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM PST.
Trainers who attended the Las Vegas event will have an abridged version of this Masterwork Research, available at the in-person event. Those trainers will not be able to buy an in-game ticket. One Jirachi per player!
Once you’ve purchased the ticket, you can begin your arduous quest for this wish-granting legendary! Here are all the Research Tasks you can expect:

There are six distinct steps you’ll need to take, with each step ending with a variety of item rewards and Pokémon Encounters.
But these aren’t easy tasks and, as of now, we don’t know all six steps. That’s because the second step is time-gated. It’s likely we’ll spend several months slowly unlocking each step. But as of February 20, 2023, here’s what we know:

Upon completing all four tasks you’ll also receive: 10 Kyogre Candy, 10 Groudon Candy, 10 Rayquaza Candy.

Upon completing all two tasks you’ll also receive: 3850 EXP and Rare Candy x 3.
We’ll have to wait two more weeks to see what step three will bring. And while it’s not guaranteed, we feel confident saying that Shiny Jiarchi will be the pot of gold at the end of this long rainbow. They’ve splashed its image everywhere, so it’d be kind of cruel if it wasn’t.
