Why Isn’t LEGO XP Showing Up in Chapter 5 Season 2 of Fortnite?
Thankfully, it’s nothing that we will need to worry about for a period of time — Fortnite has already acknowledged that it appears to be a glitch in the system and that they are doing everything in their power to get a hotfix deployed to fix this issue that is plaguing fans of the survival/crafting experience. Everything else is working as expected, so we can only hope that a hotfix is on the way soon so we can boost up our Battle Pass like we did last season.
As noted in the Tweet above, @LEGOFN_Status will continue updating players with information regarding this unfortunate glitch and when it should be resolved. It is currently unclear if players will receive XP for already completed quests or for being AFK during this time.
It seems that this Chapter was rife with issues from the start, with Epic Games issuing an apology for the downtime extended for 10+ hours due to unforeseen technical glitches caused issues with the drop of the newest Season. However, at the time of writing, things are working well again within the world of Fortnite — maybe this is a sign that you should try out the Battle Royale mode and take down some folks with the Thunderbolt of Zeus.
