Players will be able to get the Moonveil Katana from the Gael Tunnel in Caelid. This can be a little awkward to find if you don’t know where you need to go. Players will want to start at a Site of Grace called Rotview Balcony. This can be found by making your way through Limgrave or spawning any Grace near the one marked on the map above.

From Rotview Balcony, head south over a large rocky outcropping, then past a cemetery on the right-hand side. You will come to a drop with two ledges that allow you to fall down and some enemy soldiers nearby. Take them out, then head down the tunnel on the left side near the campfire. This is Gael Tunnel.

Inside you will find a mix of soldiers and rock-like creatures you will need a Strike weapon to deal with efficiently. Explore this dungeon, and you will come to a set of double doors. Behind them is a boss called the Magma Wyrm. This is a tough fight, falling into the monster category but also leaving a lot of area of effect damage in its wake. It is a game of patience. When the boss is dead, you will get the Moonveil Katana.

Moonveil Katana stats and requirements

You will need Strength 12, Dexterity 18, and Intelligence 23 to use this weapon. It scales with an E in Strength, a D in Dexterity, and a C in Intelligence, which is very useful for casters. The passive causes blood loss buildup, which is an excellent bonus in duels. The Weapon Art is Transient Moonlight, which will sheath the blade then allow players to perform a normal or strong attack. This attack is extremely fast and will unleash an arc of damaging light at enemies.

The Moonveil Katana will do 73 Physical damage and 87 Magic damage and must be upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones to level 9, then an Ancient Dragon Stone at level 10.
