Bombardier Cells in ARC Raiders
To acquire Bombardier Cells in ARC Raiders, you need to take down the elite Bombardier ARC units. This isn’t an ordinary ARC and packs a lot of firepower, which can be devastating for you and your team if you don’t properly work together to take it down.
Bombardier Spawning Locations
You can typically find Bombardiers in every map, and here are some of their possible spawn points:
- Dam Battlegrounds: Between the Water Treatment and Loading Bay
- Buried City: Marana Park, Santa Maria Houses / Plaza Rosa
- Blue Gate: Raider’s Refuge in the Forest, Warehouses.
Combat Tips for Bombardier
Ideally, you want to take on the Bombardier in a team or with friendly players because going solo at it can be a bit daunting. That said, here are a few essential tips to take it out:
- Take out the spotter drones first, which constantly give away your position. They are usually circling the Bombardier and are easy to spot.
- Aim for its weak points, which are the joints of its legs or the back side. Each of these has a yellow tint and brings down the walking tank pretty fast if you take them out first.
- If you have a shotgun, simply run up to its back and unload on the weak spot there. It’s completely exposed, and you can deal a lot of damage to it.
- Try using ranged weapons and tactics. Make your shots count and aim at the weak spots instead of the armor. Since the ARC is generally on the slower side, you can mess with it by aiming it from the rooftops or from inside buildings. Throw grenades at it from indoors, especially the Blaze or Impact grenades.
- If you’re in a team, try to get one of your teammates to distract it while you attack its weak spot at the back.
- If you want to go all out on the offensive and are willing to spend some cash, the Hullcracker is super powerful and does a great job of destroying larger ARCs, including the Bombardier.
After you’re done with the Bombardier, make sure there aren’t players around because, trust me, everyone will be running towards you and taking shots at you for the precious loot.
