Where to find the Ranger Shotgun
The good news is that the Ranger Shotgun will show up from all the same sources that other weapons, and can spawn as ground loot or from chests. There is nowhere you can go to improve those chances, you will just need to play through the game as normal.
The Ranger Shotgun comes in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarity, so you might get lucky when you find it and get something that packs some extra punch.
- Common – 117 damage with a 1.65 reload
- Uncommon – 123 damage with a 1.575 reload
- Rare – 129 damage with a 1.5 reload
- Epic – 135 damage with a 1.425 reload
- Legendary – 142 damage with a 1.35 reload
The Ranger Shotgun is definitely an interesting weapon, and at greater rarities, it definitely hits hard enough to really be a game-changer. It is also likely to shin in the no-build mode, as players cannot just endlessly build their way into a close-quarters box fight, and will need to contend with the strength of the Ranger Shotgun where it shines the most.
