How to Find Sky Rock Moss in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

To find Sky Rock Moss in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, look up toward the floating mountains overhead in the Kinglor Forest. Sky Rock Moss grows on the trees adorning these mountains, especially in the Shadow Wood, where you will find the bright-orange, glowing resource in abundance.

That said, to pick this moss, it’s best to wait for rain. You can acquire a perfect gathering score by ensuring the proper conditions for Sky Rock Moss; you’ll also want to pull to the right when scooping any up during the gathering minigame.

What is Sky Rock Moss Used For in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?

Like most moss in the game, Sky Rock Moss is often used to craft torso armor and modifications.

But unlike the other various types of moss, like Bruise Moss, Creeping Moss, or Blue Cloud Moss, Sky Rock Moss is a bit tougher to find. Due to its unique location within the floating mountains, you will need an Ikran. To unlock an Ikran, you must progress through the main story campaign until you’re working with the first clan, the Aranahe, and welcomed as a warrior.

Once you have Sky Rock Moss in your position, be careful not to donate any to the clans in exchange for favor accidentally. I made this mistake. I wound up donating my entire stash and losing out on potentially crafting numerous high-end gear pieces. Be wary!

To help you clamber up through the floating mountains and deal with any challenges, we recommend taking some time to increase your max health!
