How to Start a Fire in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Where to Find Hearty Radish in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Time for a hearty meal

Finding the best ingredients to make beneficial meals can send you on a wild goose chase in Tears of the Kingdom. As fun as throwing random mushrooms and strips of meat into a pot is at the start of the game, the further you delve into the game you’ll need to utilize your ingredients to curate dishes to help in all sorts of conditions. Whether that’s increasing your cold resistance or impacting your attack and defense, cooking is essential, but sometimes the ingredients you need to benefit your gameplay the most are harder to find. Hearty Radishes are a great addition to any meal, and they can massively help when it comes to restoring your health in a tight spot, but they are among one of the more challenging ingredients to find.

Hearty Radish Locations in Tears of the Kingdom

Fortunately, there are several locations where Hearty Radishes spawn in Tears of the Kingdom, so while you might struggle to find them at first, once you know where to head you shouldn’t be in too short supply. However, you’ll need to take to the skies to find them. The southern end of the Lanayru Sky Archipelago is home to a handful of radishes, alongside two in the north of the Sokkala Sky Archipelago. So, they are pretty sparse, but at least you have a few to get ahold of. Plus, once you’ve completed the Teach Me a Lesson questline in the school in Hateno Village, you’ll be able to farm a Hearty Raddish every two hours to save you the stress of trying to find them in the sky.

What makes Hearty Radishes so integral to collect is their ability to restore Link’s health fully alongside a few additional temporary hearts when cooked. Depending on what you cook your radish with will depend on how many temporary hearts you receive, so it’s up to you how you use them, but due to their rarity, it’s better to rely on recipe cards rather than your own free will when cooking. You don’t want to risk what could potentially be an incredibly restorative meal by bunging a load of random ingredients into a pot.
