As you hop into Disney Dreamlight Valley and discover the Toy Story realm for the first time, you’ll immediately find yourself in a strange situation. The music is distorted, Buzz Lightyear seems out of sorts, and things aren’t quite right overall. As you investigate further, you’ll realize that Buzz needs new batteries! Where to Find AA Batteries for Buzz Lightyear in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As you progress through the quest, A Secret Mission in Uncharted Space, Buzz will ask you to find two batteries. Don’t worry; you won’t have to leave the realm and search around the Valley. Instead, both are available in the Toy Story realm.
Below are both locations for each battery:
- Starting from where you speak to Buzz Lightyear for the first time, head down the toy ramp and turn left slightly. You’ll find wooden tracks, a pile of books and a wooden oven nearby. Head toward the books and oven to see the first battery behind the green bin.

- From the location above, turn around and head back toward the toy ramp. Instead of running up it, loop around and head toward the nightstand. You’ll find a picture leaning against a stack of books, with the battery sitting on the ground in front.
With both batteries in tow, speak to Buzz Lightyear again to start another series of goofy antics and quest progression!
