Where to Buy Potions and Elixirs in Mistfall Hunter
Things are getting scarce.
In Mistfall Hunter, the most important hunt consumables are potions and elixirs. They help you live longer in hunts and save lives as well as your loadout.
Here are all the ways to get those extra potions or elixirs in Mistfall Hunter so you never run out or you always get the best deal possible.
How to Get Healing Elixirs in Mistfall Hunter
While there are several ways to heal in the game, Healing Elixirs, the consumable healing supply, is the most common way to heal. Obviously, the game also teaches you about the Spirithorn, which is very limited but allows for instant healing. Spirithorn are always maxed out when you start a hunt, but don’t replenish (unless you find a well/altar in-raid) until you go to your next hunt.
So, the best way to heal is using Healing Elixirs, which isn’t an instant heal, but instead continuously restores your Health over a period of time. These effects don’t stack, but they do overwrite each other if you use another one just after a few seconds. If you take damage, the healing effect will stop, making it crucial to know when to heal while in combat.
To get these Healing Elixirs, you have to buy them from the shop through Cazarro. You can also buy from the auction house (Pip), but it doesn’t really matter at this point because the price might be the same or more.
Cazarro is located just near the pier, next to the exploration boat or Soekja. Open the shop and go to the standard store. In the middle of the list of items, you’ll see two separate Healing Elixir items. The first one, as seen in the image above, is the cheaper version, but it does have a purchase limit of 6. The store resets pretty fast, around 20 minutes, so you can buy at least 6 of these discounted Healing Elixirs every hunt. The discounted one costs 12 Gyldenblod each, while the regular one costs 28 Gyldenblod, more than double the price.
If you progress a little more and upgrade the shop from the camp upgrades, you’ll unlock the premium shop that sells the Potent Healing Elixir. There’s a purchase limit of 3, and the Premium Shop resets much more slowly. The Potent Healing Elixir costs 54 Gyldenblod each, but it is efficient in healing when you are out of combat and have lost a lot of health.
If you are really struggling with Gyldenblod and surviving your hunts, you can always use the Novice Combat Bag, which has a set loadout and also brings 9 Minor Healing Elixirs. Other combat bags have better healing potions and loadouts, but you do need to get them first, either through quest rewards, events, or the Destiny Map Store (season store).
