When Is the Embargo Date for Starfield Reviews?

The Embargo for Starfield is set for August 31, Thursday, at 12 PM ET. This is just a few hours ahead of the Early Access release, which happens on September 1.  The game’s official release date is September 6, five days later. It might be just too tight of a date to decide on getting early access or not, but it’s still way ahead of the actual release date.

It just happens that this is the same date when Steam users will be able to pre-load the game. And trust me, you definitely want to get this thing downloaded as soon as possible because the game is just as massive as its galaxies. You might even wanna get a whole SSD solely dedicated to Starfield.

Fortunately, console players (and PC players playing through Xbox) won’t have this problem as the game has been available for preload since August 17. It’s still a huge file size, but you do have a few extra days to prepare for that.

Recent trailers and showcases have revealed a lot to the general public, such as weapons, planets, and some of the infinite possibilities we can see in this vast galaxy, but we should have more of an official look at the game when the first reviews start rolling out. And we on Prima are ready to reveal our views on the game as soon as the embargo is gone, so be sure to check that out!
