Valorant is Riot Games' tactical character-based first-person shooter and recently officially launched, meaning players from across the world can now download and experience the adrenaline-fueled action of the title. However, Riot Games did not include the ranked competitive playlist for the game at launch, which means that the community has to wait before they can climb the rankings like they were able to in the closed beta. Fortunately, we have all of the information you need to know when it comes to one question. When is ranked coming?
When Is Ranked Coming to Valorant?
The developer has stated that players can expect that the ranked competitive playlist will be coming to the first-person shooter following the implementation of a few patches post-launch. The reason for this decision to postpone the launch of the playlist is due to Riot Games wants to make sure that it is ready and tuned based on player feedback before it is officially added into the game.
"Similar to our closed beta launch, our initial focus is making sure our service is stable before activating competitive matchmaking. This is also a way to give new players the same courtesy that closed beta players had to learn the game ahead of turning on Competitive. We’ll also make some adjustments to Competitive based on remaining closed beta player feedback. Our plan is to turn on Competitive a few patches into our launch," said Riot Games in its official blog.
There is no doubt that plenty of players will be very excited when they learn of when exactly ranked is coming to what is shaping up to be the next big multiplayer gaming hit in the world.
