Every day in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers players plenty of adventures to be had. However, there is an official start and end for each of the days that you will experience in the game. This start and end for each of your Animal Crossing: New Horizons days allows for things to reset and be changed depending on what day it is. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know when it comes to the start of each day covered for you.
When Does a New Day Start in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Players will find that the start of each day takes place at 5 AM. Yes, it is an early beginning when it comes to how each of the days in the game arrives. That is why you should not plan on having things finished for the next day at midnight as you would in real life, as the days begin five hours later in this exciting world.
The days while change into each other even when you are playing, so do not worry about having to stop playing to allow the start of the next day to take place. All you will see is the screen turn black for some time, as the game loads up everything when it comes to resetting materials or adding the likes of Daisy Mae on Sundays. Tom Nook or Isabelle for players who have the Resident Services Building upgrade will then make the daily announcements.
It is important to note that all of the daily tasks will also reset at 5 AM. This resetting of daily tasks means will need to make sure they complete them before 5 AM, or they will lose out on completing that day’s specific ones and will only be able to do the next day’s set of daily tasks. No doubt waiting until the last minute to do your daily tasks before the start of the next day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will cause you more stress if you had just done hours before 5 AM.
