Genshin Impact 3.5 Update Featured

When Does Genshin Impact Version 3.5 Release? – Answered

Just a few more days to go

Through this seemly colder mid-expansion update, HoYoverse is intending to deliver some interesting features to Genshin Impact. Not only are more 5-star characters coming to the Standard Banners during Version 3.5, but we also get a few extra updates and freebies that were somewhat unexpected, making for an actually okay update.

Lots of familiar and cherished faces will also make their return to the Limited banners, so we got reasons to be excited about this next patch. But when is the Version 3.5 update coming for Genshin Impact?

When Does Genshin Impact 3.5 Release? – Answered

Genshin Impact 3.5 will be out on February 28, 2023, coinciding with the end of the current Hu Tao/Yelan banners. The update may roll out earlier or later depending on your timezone, but the 28 is the expected date for North America.

Maintenance should last the usual five hours period from the start, in which servers will be completely unavailable. For compensation, players get x300 Primogems in total, and 60 more for each extra hour, if the maintenance happens to get delayed.

The version will have Dehya featured as the first banner character alongside Cyno, who’s getting his first rerun. The girl will later be added to the Standard Banner pool while Cyno remains limited-only, contrasting to some players’ expectations.

In a maybe even more surprising manner, Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe are getting their reruns too, making Eula currently the character who hasn’t received a rerun for the longest time.

With no new area to explore, this version is bound to be less generous with Primogems, but there are still plenty of events to work on and previous areas to explore, so players with good savings can still get their desired characters with some farming. Those extra Intertwined Fates we’ll get for completing quests are quite a nice help too.
