Togekiss’ Weakness in Pokemon Go

Togekiss has base stats of 225 Attack, 217 Defense, and 198 Stamina, and many players consider Charm and Dazzling Gleam its best Fast Attack and Charged Attack due to their damage, especially in PVP.

Because of the Fairy/Flying-type’s dual typing, it has a large weakness pool. It is weak to Poison, Steel, Rock, Ice, and Electric-type moves, meaning knowing which Pokemon to use against it will give you a massive advantage.

While you can use any Pokemon with those types, there is a handful that outperforms the rest in terms of attack damage if equipped with the right TMs:

Deoxys (Attack Forme)Poison JabZap Cannon
Galarian Zen Mode DarmanitanIce FangAvalanche
Zacian (Crowned Sword Forme)Metal ClawWild Charge

Togekiss’ dual-typing means that it can wield a wide number of moves, but considering Charm and Dazzling Gleam are its most popular moves, avoid bringing the following Pokemon into battle so you’re not caught off guard:

  • Scraggy
  • Scrafty
  • Deino
  • Zwelious
  • Hydreigon
  • Alolan Meowth
  • Alolan Persian
  • Umbreon
  • Poochyena
  • Mightyena

Now that you know how to counter Togekiss in Pokemon Go, it’s time to get out there and beat it up in some Raids!
