What is Platinum Camo in MW3 Zombies

The Platinum Camo in MW3 Zombies is simply the camo you get from Tier 2 of the Pack-A-Punch machine. I saw reports that you only needed to get your weapon to the first tier of Pack-A-Punch, but that’s not the case in my experience. I wasn’t able to get progress for the Platinum Camo on my FR 5.56 until I reached the second level of Pack.

Keep in mind that the Platinum Camo and Pack-A-Punch Tier 2 are technically different. If you hit the machine so that the camo doesn’t go on your blueprint, then the progress may not be tracked. Your goal is to get kills with the camo on instead of the Pack specifically. It can be a hassle but it’s better than having to get a true Platinum mastery.

How to Get the Platinum Camo in MW3 Zombies

You can get the Platinum Camo for your weapon by spending 15,000 Essence in total on a Tier 2 Pack-A-Punch machine or by using Refined Aetherium Crystals. You can even decide to use a Raw Aetherium Crystal and then follow up with 10,000 Essence for the Tier 2 upgrade. Either way, they all lead to the Platinum Camo, which is more of a blue.

For any of the challenges that require this camo, you just have to get kills with it active, so go about the rest of your Modern Warfare 3 Zombies business like you usually would. Most of the time 300 kills goes by in a flash.
