Across the game, players are getting hit with the same error code. Here’s what the Minot Hawthorne Error in Modern Warfare 3 and whether you can fix the ‘Failed to Request Daily Login error.
What is Minot Hawthorne Error in Modern Warfare 3 and Can I Fix It?
If you logged into Modern Warfare 3 and made your way here, it’s likely you’ve encountered the message, “Failed to request daily login [ Reason: MINOT – HAWTHORNE]”, only to get booted from the game. This has happened to players trying to look at their battle pass or a game, only to have their levels completely reset.
The Minot – Hawthorne error occurs when the servers are overloaded, and it’s an error that has plagued MW3 since its release. Unfortunately, with it affecting multiplayer games, it’s unlikely that players will be able to engage in any part of the game until a patch has come out to fix the issue. That’s right, there’s no fix to the Minot – Hawthorne error in MW3. But we do know that Activision is aware of the issue.
The Call of Duty Updates account, which is the official account for Call of Duty news, posted stating, “We’re working on a fix for a known issue that appeared overnight that is preventing progress from being tracked in various areas of the game including but not limited to events, challenges, Battle Pass, and SR. Players may also notice unusual behavior related to account level and loadouts.”
While this post doesn’t guarantee a fix time, at least we know that the team is working on it and is aware of the leveling issue. A fix that should restore loadout functionality has already been deployed, but the rest of the issues surrounding Minot – Hawthorne remain unresolved.
With the servers down, why not try Helldivers 2, which has an assortment of difficulty levels? Or maybe try out some of the best classes in the Last Epoch?
