Fortnite is filled with all manner of items that can help players. Foragables are food items that players can find in various places. They can give players health, shields, or even differing effects like thermal vision or faster movement speed.
Forageables can be found growing all over the map, particularly in areas with a lot of trees. They can also be found by searching produce boxes. Produce boxes can be found in stores, gas stations, and restaurants all over the map.
How to gain shields by consuming foragables
In Week 3 of Chapter 3 Season 2, players will need to find foragables that will give them shields. To do this, they will need to find blue mushrooms.
The best place to find them is in the wood area near to the river, to the southwest of Titled Towers. Here, there are three different patches of mushrooms that can be found along the trail running through the trees. Each mushroom will give 5 shields, so players will need to find 10 in total.
- Use an Ascender at Chonker’s Speedway and Command Cavern (0/2)
- Search chests and ammo boxes at IO Outposts (0/3)
- Mod a vehicle with the Cow Catcher (0/1)
- Damage opponents from 30 or more meters with the Revolver (0/100)
- Deal damage to opponents at Synapse Station or The Daily Bugle (0/75)
- Emote within 10 meters of a character (0/1)
- Gain shields by consuming foragables (0/50)
- Upgrade a weapon at an Upgrade Bench (0/1)
- Deal damage to opponents with a legendary weapon (0/150)
