Warframe: Where to Farm Control Modules

Get your resources under control.

While it’s fun to get new weapons, frames, and other pieces of gear in Warframe, you’ll need resources to get there in the first place. Here’s where to farm Control Modules in Warframe.

The Best Places to Farm Control Modules in Warframe

Unlike many of Warframe’s resources, Control Modules surprisingly only have two great farming locations. These are Teshub, Void and Hepit, Void, being Exterminate and Capture missions respectively. If you’re trying to get enough to snag everything that needs Control Modules in the game, you’ll want to farm both these a ton. As an added tip, Hepit is also great for farming Void Relics, so I’d suggest leaning toward that more. Each time one drops, you should get 1-3 Control Modules.

As an added note, albeit not recommended, you can purchase Control Modules for Platinum in the Market. Each Control Module costs 10 Plat, so if you’re swimming in the stuff, then you could simply buy your way to crafting an item. Since you can get one so easily otherwise, though, I suggest not getting Control modules this way.

What Are Control Modules Used For?

Control Modules are used for a wide variety of recipes in Warframe. We won’t be listing all of them here since this would become an extremely long article, but there are a few that are particularly useful. Some great examples include various pieces of Chroma Prime, Nekros Prime, and Octavia Prime, alongside certain bits and pieces of Railjacks. If you want to build everything possible that takes Control Modules, you’ll need 458 Control Modules. Rest assured that as long as you farm them up only as you need them, getting 458 Control Modules is quite easy.
