Where to Find the Ignis Wraith in Warframe

The Ignis Wraith’s main blueprint can be easily acquired through the Chem Lab in your Clan’s Dojo, provided your Clan has researched the blueprint. If you aren’t in a Clan, there are a few other ways to get the Ignis Wraith.

The easiest is to have it drop from Abandoned Derelict Caches, found in Grineer-controlled zones within the Veil Proxima. These are white map markers found when entering these missions, so shouldn’t be too hard to spot. Each one you do alongside the main objective of the mission will grant you an 8.7% chance to drop the blueprint.

Otherwise, Baro Ki’Teer has a chance to sell a fully-built Ignis Wraith each time he enters the shop.

Once you have an Ignis Wraith blueprint, you’ll need the following materials to build it:

  • 5x Detonite Injector
  • 10,000x Ferrite
  • 5,000x Rubedo
  • 3x Argon Crystal

From there, it’s as simple as waiting 24 hours for it to finish building. After that, it’s yours to use at your leisure.

Is the Ignis Wraith Worth Using?

The Ignis Wraith is a flamethrower that’s a direct upgrade from the standard Ignis, sporting improved critical chance, status chance, and magazine size. If you want to apply a lot of Heat damage to a lot of enemies, then it’s plenty worth using. Like any weapon, however, you’ll need to build it with the correct mods to make the best use of it.

Some great mods for the Ignis Wraith include Galvanized Chamber to spread more fire through Multishot, Sinister Reach so the fire beam goes further, and Thermite Rounds to increase the Heat and chance of it applying.
