We’re glad to see detailed system requirements from PlayStation Studios’ titles, and the developers have given a very good idea of what we can expect from a wide variety of hardware. If you’re looking to play Until Dawn at the high preset with a 60 FPS target at 1440p, you’ll need something like an RTX 3080 paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X.

If you plan to go higher and target 4K, you’ll need an RTX 3080 Ti instead, paired with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Apart from that, 70 GB of free space is required, and an SSD is recommended no matter what settings you play Until Dawn Remake at.

Until Dawn Remake PC Features

The developers have also confirmed the following features for the PC release:

  • Full DualSense controller support: Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
  • NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3
  • Ultrawide Aspect Ratio
  • Ray-tracing support: Shadows, Reflections and Ambient Occlusion

Overall, this is shaping up to be an impressive uplift, and there are various tweaks to the gameplay as well. Until Dawn Remake is coming to both PC and the PS5 on October 4, 2024. We’re glad to see more and more titles from the catalog join the PC platform, especially with God of War: Ragnarok hitting PC this month.
