How to Restore Purchases in Super Mario Run

No matter what reason you have for needing to restore your purchases, so long as you have your Apple ID, you’re good to go. By default, Apple is pretty good about allowing you to restore purchase information. For example, many applications have a ‘Restore Purchase’ button that can usually be used to easily restore your purchase information. Super Mario Run doesn’t make things that easy though, instead, you’re going to have to jump through a couple of hoops.

First off, open up the application on your new device. Head into the World Tour game mode, and click the Purchase Screen button. This will open up a big window that asks you to drop $9.99 on the game. Don’t fret, though. We’re not done yet.

Go ahead and go through all the motions to get the game purchased again. After a few slides, and once you reach the part where the app asks for your Apple ID and Password, login and you should get a message saying ‘You’ve already purchased this. Would you like to get it again for free?’

Once that message pops up, go ahead and tap on the Okay button. This will automatically restore your purchase, giving you full access to all of Super Mario Run.

Looking for your save information? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered there too.

How to Restore Your Save information

To restore your save information in Super Mario Run, you first must login to a My Nintendo Account in your application. If you didn’t happen to link the game to your My Nintendo account, then you won’t be able to restore your save data. If you did, though, this process can be easily accomplished.

From the Kingdom Builder screen, look in the top right-hand corner and look for the Link button. Tap this, then login to your My Nintendo account. This will link your account to the game. Now, you can reinstall the game on any iOS device and link your account back to it to download your save info and pick up where you left off, no matter which device you’re on.
