Stopping Power Rounds Modern Warfare Field Upgrade

There are a variety of perks and field upgrades that you can employ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to give yourself an edge over your opponents. The Pointman perk is one such example, and we’ve got some tips on how to use that right here. However, we’re concerned with this particular Field Upgrade that lets your bullets do increased damage.

Yes, the Stopping Power Rounds field upgrade will give you a direct buff to your damage done, even though it has a long refresh time. It will give you 1 (one) mag of rounds that do more damage than usual, which means that you can capitalize on this more than most if your weapon has a large magazine. The philosophy behind this is that you’ll do more damage with this Field Upgrade activated, making it directly easier for you to down your foes for as long as it’s running. If the long recharge time doesn’t seem quite worth it to you, you might want to make sure that you also have the Tune Up perk to cut that time down so that you can enjoy this damage buff more frequently in matches.

You don’t want to waste this spate of high damage, so stick to weapons that have a correspondingly high accurate. ARs are good, as are other burst fire weapons and Marksman rifles if you reckon that your aim is up to snuff. If you’re wanting to gamble on guns with larger magazines for a more prolonged output, you can also go for machine guns so long as you’re not just spraying and praying; please take some time to aim. Need information on something other than the Stopping Power Rounds Modern Warfare field upgrade?
